Updates

Der Desktop-Client aktualisiert sich automatisch. Sie müssen nichts tun. Im Detail:

Wie das Update läuft

  1. Beim Start und stündlich prüft die App, ob eine neue Version vorliegt.
  2. Wenn ja, lädt sie das Update im Hintergrund herunter — Sie merken nichts.
  3. Wenn der Download fertig ist, kommt eine Push-Benachrichtigung: „Eine neue Version ist installationsbereit."
  4. Sie wählen:
    • Jetzt installieren — App startet neu, ist nach 5-10 Sekunden wieder offen, neue Version aktiv.
    • Später — Update wird beim nächsten regulären Neustart der App automatisch installiert.

Versionsnummer ablesen

Hauptfenster → Profil (Avatar) → Über aYOUne zeigt die aktuelle Version. Auch im Tray-Symbol-Tooltip sichtbar.

Release-Notes lesen

Bei jedem Update bekommen Sie eine Schnell-Zusammenfassung der Änderungen. Wenn Sie mehr lesen wollen: Hauptfenster → Hilfe → Release-Notes zeigt die letzten 10 Versionen mit kompletter Liste der Änderungen, neuen Funktionen und Bugfixes.

Updates manuell anstoßen

Wenn Sie nicht warten wollen:

Hauptfenster → Profil → Über aYOUne → Auf Updates prüfen.

Falls eines verfügbar ist, beginnt sofort der Download — und wenn fertig, wird der Neustart angeboten.

Update verschieben

Wenn Sie gerade in einem wichtigen Anruf sind oder ein Sync läuft, können Sie das Update aufschieben:

Push-Benachrichtigung → Später.

Die Frage kommt erneut beim nächsten Neustart der App, oder spätestens nach 24 Stunden.

Updates abschalten

Wir empfehlen das nicht — Sicherheits-Updates werden so nicht eingespielt. Aber wenn nötig:

Einstellungen → Updates → Automatische Updates: aus.

Sie können dann manuell prüfen (siehe oben) und bekommen alle 7 Tage einen Reminder. Der Reminder kann nicht permanent abgeschaltet werden.

Beta-Versionen

Wenn Sie neue Funktionen früher ausprobieren wollen:

Einstellungen → Updates → Update-Kanal:

  • Stable (default) — geprüfte Versionen
  • Beta — neue Funktionen 1-2 Wochen früher als Stable, gelegentlich kleinere Bugs

Beta-Wechsel braucht keinen Neustart, aber das nächste Update kommt aus dem Beta-Kanal.

Update fehlgeschlagen

Wenn das Update beim Installieren scheitert (z.B. weil die App noch läuft oder der Antivirus blockiert):

  1. App komplett schließen — auch das Tray-Symbol (Rechtsklick → Beenden).
  2. Neu starten — beim Start versucht die App das Update erneut.
  3. Wenn es wieder scheitert: Hauptfenster → Hilfe → Diagnose → Update-Fehler ansehen, oder Support kontaktieren mit dem Diagnose-Code.

In hartnäckigen Fällen kann eine Neuinstallation helfen: Installer der neuesten Version von der Download-Seite ziehen, drüber installieren — Daten und Einstellungen bleiben erhalten.
