Marketing machine, or an operating system for the business?
HubSpot shines before the sale. aYOUne carries the process further, to the invoice, into the warehouse and to the till. The difference isn't a feature list; it's how far the software goes with you.
In short: HubSpot is one of the best tools for winning and serving customers: marketing, sales, service. aYOUne does that too, but behind it also runs the books, the warehouse, production and the till, and it brings the devices along. If you're after a pure marketing powerhouse, HubSpot is an honest recommendation. If you want to bring the whole business into one system, a front-office-only tool starts to get stretched.
What HubSpot is and what aYOUne is
HubSpot is a front-office system: it helps you create attention, turn prospects into customers and serve those customers well. It does that excellently, and its own building blocks, the "hubs" for marketing, sales, service, content, mesh cleanly.
aYOUne starts one layer deeper. For us the customer contact is the beginning, not the whole thing. The quote becomes an invoice, the invoice a ledger entry, the order a warehouse movement, the sale a receipt at the till, all in the same system, with the same data. On top of that come areas HubSpot doesn't address at all: payroll, production, purchasing, project management. 28 business areas in one product.

What the difference means day to day
Picture an order coming in. In HubSpot it runs cleanly through marketing and sales, and then travels to your accounting, your warehouse, your till, which all sit elsewhere. Each of those handoffs is an integration someone has to set up and maintain, and each is a place where the numbers can drift apart.
In aYOUne the same order stays in the same system. The invoice knows the customer from sales, the warehouse knows the order, accounting knows the invoice. Nobody types anything twice. That's the real advantage of one product covering several areas: not the number of features, but that nothing gets lost in between.
Fair enough, though: HubSpot's marketing tools have matured over years, the catalogue of ready integrations is huge, and the name opens doors. If marketing is your core and the rest runs well elsewhere, HubSpot plays in a league of its own there.
Pricing: what to watch for
HubSpot works by building blocks and users. Entry is low: there's a free plan and starter tiers from around $20 a month. But the professional features climb quickly: Marketing Hub Professional runs about $800–890 a month (annual, three users included) plus a one-time onboarding fee of $3,000; the Enterprise tier is $3,600 a month plus $7,000 onboarding. Sales Hub Professional is around $100 per sales user per month. (Source: public HubSpot pricing, as of July 2026.)
The point isn't "expensive". HubSpot is worth its price to many. The point is the structure: you pay per block and per user, and the important features often sit one tier up. aYOUne charges per module and per user, with volume discounts, and you only switch on what you actually use, you get the concrete figure tailored to you in a conversation. How we think about it is on the pricing page.
Who HubSpot is the better choice for
If marketing is the engine of your growth, if you want the deepest campaign and automation tools, need a very large catalogue of ready integrations, and accounting, inventory and the till run well elsewhere anyway, then HubSpot is an excellent choice, and we wouldn't talk you out of it.
Who aYOUne is the better choice for
If you want to bring more than the front office into one system (accounting, inventory, production, the till, HR), if devices in the shop are part of it, if you use AI deeply day to day, or you want to pass the software on to your customers under your own brand: then aYOUne is built for that, and HubSpot isn't.
For businesses that want more than marketing and sales in one system, yes. aYOUne covers the same front-office jobs and adds accounting, inventory, production, the till, payroll and its own devices. If you're purely after a marketing system, HubSpot is more specialised there.
As a rule yes: customer records, contacts and deals can be migrated. Exactly how depends on the scope of your HubSpot setup; we clarify that in a conversation and guide the move.
For most businesses aYOUne covers marketing, campaigns and service. If you run very specialised marketing automation, we'll tell you honestly where HubSpot still goes deeper today, rather than gloss over it.
