IoT hardware: our own device line for aYOUne
Our own hardware line. A single image, six device profiles, from wallboardWallboardA wallboard is a large wall-mounted screen showing key numbers live — sales, tasks, metrics. Your team sees the current status at a glance. to point-of-sale terminal to access reader, all preconfigured.
Six device profiles
One image for wallboard, control panel, terminal, ad display, point of sale and access reader, the role is chosen at first boot.
QR pairing
Code on the screen, scan it in the app, done. No console, no config files, no IT effort.
OTA updates & watchdog
Updates arrive over the air, a watchdog keeps the device running and heals it by itself.
Peripheral bridge
Printers, NFCNFCNFC is the wireless tech for paying and logging in by tapping — hold a card or phone to the reader. aYOUne uses it at terminals and access readers. readers and scanners connect directly, the hardware talks to your aYOUne with no detour.
One image, many roles
Instead of cobbling together a different device for every use case, aYOUne has its own hardware line built on a shared foundation. The same preconfigured image becomes a wallboard on the wall, a control panel, a point-of-sale or time-tracking terminal, an ad display or an access reader, the role is set before the first boot.
Setup is deliberately simple: switch the device on, a pairing code appears, scan it in the app, done. After that the device keeps itself current through over-the-air updates, and a watchdog makes sure the screen always stays up.
Straight to the platform
Every device talks directly to your aYOUne instance, with no VPN, firewall rules or IP addresses. Attached peripherals such as printers, NFC readers or scanners connect through a bridge. You'll find details on the individual devices on the hardware overview.
