aYOUne Desktop Client — Overview

The aYOUne Desktop Client is a native application for Windows, macOS and Linux. It runs in its own window — not in the browser — and provides capabilities a browser cannot offer.

What you can do with it
• Print from any device — a printer connected to your desktop becomes available to the mobile app and your team.
• Sync files like OneDrive: a folder on your machine mirrors content from aYOUne in both directions.
• Read and write NFC cards and YubiKeys — for employee logins, door access or machine identification.
• Scan barcodes and QR codes with a camera or handheld scanner.
• Calls, video, screen sharing and team chat — directly in the desktop window.
• External messages from WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook and Slack in one shared inbox.
• System notifications even when the browser is closed — push toasts, sound, tray icon.
