Side panel and AI Copilot

The side panel opens aYOUne's communication bar next to the web page: AI Copilot, phone, video, chat, contacts, channels, inbox, support and notifications, in your usual aYOUne account.

Opening the side panel
• keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Y (on a Mac Cmd+Shift+Y)
• in the Companion popup: Open AI Copilot
• in the toolbar: the Copilot icon
• on websites run with aYOUne: Copilot for this page — the Copilot then starts with a question about exactly that page

Change the shortcut under Settings → Keyboard shortcuts.

Buttons in the side panel header

| Button | What it does |

| Feedback | takes a picture of the current page; you mark it up and type or dictate your comment |
| Reload | reloads the side panel |
| Open in tab | opens aYOUne in its own tab |
| Close | closes the side panel |
| Sign out | signs the Companion out |

Voice input

Voice input needs one-time access to your microphone. When you see Voice input needs one-time microphone access, click Enable and confirm Chrome's prompt.

Asking the Copilot about selected text

Select text on any page, right-click and choose aYOUne → AI Copilot fragen (ask AI Copilot). The Companion sends the selection together with the page address and title to your Copilot and shows the answer right on the page.

The same menu also offers Mit AI übersetzen (DE ⇄ EN) (translate) and Auswahl zusammenfassen (summarise). Both use the AI features Chrome provides on your computer where available and otherwise fall back to aYOUne. The right-click menu is currently shown in German.
