# Google Search

On Google search result pages the Companion shows where you stand for the search term, straight from your keyword monitoring in aYOUne.

## The bar above the results

Above the results a bar shows:

- your website's **position** for the search term and when it was last measured;
- whether you appear organically (SEO), with ads (SEA) or with shopping ads (PLA);
- the research the search term belongs to;
- a link to the keyword report in aYOUne.

If the search term is not monitored yet, the bar says so and offers a button:

- not tracked → **+ Track keyword**
- recorded but in no research, so not measured → **Add to research**

Both buttons open a picker of your research projects right in the bar.

With **Regions** you compare results for other countries and languages.

## Ads

- If competitors bid on your brand, the Companion marks their ads as **brand bidder**.
- Your own ads show position, impressions, click-through rate (CTR) and cost per click (CPC).

## Extras

Two extras are **off** after installation; switch them on under **Settings → Features**:

- **Dossier** — a detailed report on the search term;
- **Overlays** — additional details on the individual search results.

## Requirements

The bar appears on the common Google domains while you are signed in to the Companion and the feature is switched on.
