# Phone numbers on web pages

The Companion recognises phone numbers on web pages and places a small **📞** button next to them.

## How it works

- Clicking **📞** (*Mit aYOUne anrufen*, call with aYOUne) opens aYOUne communication in a new tab with the number already filled in. You start the call there.
- Numbers with 7 to 15 digits that validate as real phone numbers are recognised. The check runs inside the Companion on your computer.
- Numbers inside links, buttons, input fields and editable areas are left alone.
- The Companion scans shortly after the page loads and reacts to new content for the following five minutes.

## Turning it on or off

Under **Settings → Features** switch recognition on or off, for all sites or just for some. It only runs while you are signed in.
